Holiday festivities!

There is a lot going on this week, so please feel free to email me with any questions. I will be out-of-state and traveling from Wednesday until the end of the week, so I may not be available during those times. The students will have an amazing substitute to help them with our Quest Academy Holiday festivities. 

 Monday: Please be sure to have your child bring their 30 crafts for the Rendezvous tomorrow. I can store them safely until Thursday.

Tuesday: Bring a $5 gift. I apologize for the late information regarding our Gift Exchange on Friday. Students will just need to bring a $5 wrapped gift that could be for a girl or a boy. Please bring them in on Tuesday. I can store them safely until Friday. We will exchange them at the end of the day. Students must wait until they leave school to open the gift. 

***If anyone would like to purchase an extra gift please feel free. I am likely to have a few students who struggle to come up with a gift.***

Wednesday: Students will partner up in class to create a poster for the Rendezvous. 

Thursday: Last day for students to bring their crafts. Friends and family may come at 2:30. 

Friday: Last day for students to bring their Gifts.

Rendezvous coming up in 2 weeks!!

 RENDEZVOUS

***We will hold our annual 4th-grade Rendezvous (a.k.a. the Economics Fair) on Thursday, December 19th, the last week before Christmas Break.

To be ready for this event, students will need to make 30 products or plan a service to “sell” during the rendezvous (please keep the expense very low. I recommend making each item well under the value of $1. Be creative and use things you already have. Nature if filled with free supplies.) Some examples are shown below. Please no food or Orbeez.

Polar Express - December 20th

 

If students have not started making their 30 Rendezvous crafts then they will want to start immediately! Please refer to earlier posts for ideas. All students are required to have their crafts or items to sell ready for the Rendezvous on the 19th. Please email me if you have any concerns. 

The Polar Express Party will occur on December 20th. Students will begin the day with some coloring activities and do a gum drop craft around 9:00. Around 10:00 we will begin the movie The Polar Express. We will have one other activity before early dismissal at 1:00. Have a great holiday!

Quest Academy Book Fair!

 

New Novel Study! Bunnicula!

 The novel "Punishment" is due back by this Friday. Our class will now be reading the novel "Bunnicula" over the Holiday break. This novel will be due back to me on January 9th of 2025. After students complete the novel and return the book, then we will watch the movie as a class.
